L'Hippocampe Oualidia

Oualidia is a lesser known but popular resort which is unique, with a beautiful lagoon protected from the high winds and strong currents of the atlantic. Oualidia is famous for its local oysters and shellfish.

The hotel Hippocampe is situated in the prime location in Oualidia opposite the opening of the lagoon into the Atlantic ocean. Its outside terrace bar is a perfect place to relax and unwind with a drink whilst watching the local fishermen or boats ferrying people across the lagoon. The hotel has beautiful gardens and a large swimming pool. The standard rooms are built in bungalow style and are all of a good size, clean and simple. The standard rooms do not have a view of the ocean, since they lie behind the main hotel building and gardens.
