Riad Sila

The Riad Sila has 3 suites and can take up to 8 people. It is part of the Rebali Riads, a collection of 6 Moroccan boutique villas in the village of Sidi Kaouki, a 20-30 minute drive from Essaouira, and 100 metres from miles of beautiful sandy beaches and stunning views over the coast and mountains. You can relax and soak up the atmosphere of Moroccan rural life, yet be only a short drive away (22 km) are the bustling souks and ramparts of Essaouira with its fabulous restaurants and shopping. The riad is designed around a 14m (45 feet) open plan sitting and dining room under a triple height void with a remote-control glass sliding roof at one end. On the ground floor is also a cinema snug with fireplace and TV that can be converted into a 4th bedroom with access to the downstairs shower room.

On-site are beautiful gardens, a selection of swimming pools, a traditional hammam and spa and tennis court (spring 2010). Outside there is a south facing garden with a 9m (30 feet) long pool. As well as the pool there are planted and terraced areas (with sun loungers) and then stairs leading to the first floor terrace and on up to the roof terrace with great views and seating areas.

There are three en-suite bedrooms with marble baths, twin basins and walk-in showers off the galleried landing. All the bedrooms have private terraces and the master suite has a four-poster bed and open plan bath giving views over the gardens and mountains.

Whether you take the entire villa or stay in one of the suites in the larger riads, the discreet boutique hotel service ensures privacy and luxury for all guests. Breakfast is included and served by the staff.
