Dar Ayniwen is a classically built house set in five acres of beautiful gardens that has been transformed into a sumptuous Boutique Hotel. Located on the outskirts of Marrakech, it is a private hideaway in the Palmeraie, a fifteen minute drive from the walls of the Medina.
Run by the owner's son Stephane, and his manager Aziz, the emphasis of Dar Ayniwen is on personal service and attentiveness. It has the feel of a large country house, with its eclectic and extravagant antique furnishings - you will be kept enthralled by its beauty and quirkiness.
It features just eight suites, each individually styled and richly decorated with every modern comfort. Four of the suites are in the main villa, with the four remaining suites secluded in the grounds - two with their own private garden and jacuzzi. Breakfasts are served around the pool, or in your suite.
There is a restaurant where you can discover the delights of traditional Moroccan gastronomy, or exquisite classic Italian dishes. At night you may also dine on the outdoor pool terrace, adorned by lantern-light and surrounded by ancient olive trees and palms.
If you feel the need to remain connected there is a private office with fax, computer and internet, but you may find the well-being centre where you can indulge in all the pleasures of a traditional hammam or sauna holds greater appeal!
A private car is made available to drive you in and out of Marrakech, or to the two nearby golf courses.

"...Here we had our best service during our travels in Morocco. The landscape, gardens, courtyards and pool provide an exquisite setting. Free transfer service at any time of day (or night) was an invaluable amenity, making travel to and from the airport and Marrakesh hassle free. Definitely don't miss this place!"

"...We wanted a pool and garden and someplace with character. We found all three at the very special world you enter when you come to Dar Ayniwen. It's one of the oldest mansions in the area and has a wonderfull mellow, aristocratic yet unpretentious air about it."

"...From breakfast by the pool every morning listening to the wonderful bird song to candle lit dinners at night. Aziz stressed that this was our home whilst we were there and he meant it....it was just so relaxing and peaceful."

"...Dar Ayniwen is quite a contrast in design with mix of antique and beautiful paintings and a bit of quirkiness thrown in! The gardens are simply stunning and in my view better than a trip to the Majorelle gardens which is full of tourists....don't bother, just stay here! Lying by the pool, surrounded by the wonderful birds, tortoises, guinea fowl and resident cat whilst reading a good novel is the best form of relaxation you could wish for."

"...All in all, we fell in love with the place: ambience, service, privacy, and highly original and beautiful decor, with the bathroom absolutely exquisite. The views from the (three!) terraces were splendid, and we loved the garden, with the swimming pool, ornamental pond, specimen trees and aviary contributing to the idyllic environment."
