Riad Kitula

This historic building was part of a Kalif’s palace built around 1750. Riad Kitula has 5 bedrooms, although only 3 are available to rent ensuite unless you book the whole house. This is a spectacular riad with an understated mix of European and Moroccan décor. Riad Kitula has a cook, a maid and a caretaker to ensure that your needs both in and out of the house are attended to. There are two reception rooms and a dining room. Wireless internet is available for those who travel with wi-fi enabled devices. Riad Kitula is situated next to the Katoubia mosque and the Djemaa el Fna; a world heritage site and the largest square on the African continent. During the day the Djemaa el Fna seethes with snake charmers, musicians and storytellers; at night it metamorphosis’s into the world's largest outdoor restaurant. Riad Kitula is also on the doorstep of the Marrakech’s famous souk; a meandering market of spices, carpets and a thousand other stalls. Our caretaker will show you around this bewildering maze without fear of getting lost.

Riad Kitula has easy access to the main thoroughfare where you can hail taxi’s and Kaleshes (horse drawn carriages). It is is in one of the best locations in Marrakech, about 3 minutes from the main square. It is also near Dar Moha, Tobsil, and several of the best restaurants in Marrackech. Finally, the Hotel Jardin de Koutoubia is a stone’s throw away where indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hammams and massage facilities await you along with three excellent restaurants and a piano bar.
