Hotel Vagabond

Marie and Sebastien would like to welcome you to the Ocean Vagabond, into which they have put their heart. This 14 roomed beautiful hotel, has an aura of calm, and is situated close to the beach and the medina of Essaouira. It has a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The panoramic windows flood light into all the living rooms and the mezzanine. The interior is furnished comfortably but simply: woodwork is done in Iroko, with marble and tadlakt bathrooms. On the other side of the garden in a space of Eastern beauty, we offer massages and traditional baths. The restaurant and a nautical base on the beach, provide visitors with healthy food and the opportunity to take part in water sports, as well as a sheltered area for sunbathing.

The rooms: Most rooms have private terraces with views of the beach or the medina. On the first floor a curved corridor serves three rooms with a view of the medina, and three rooms and a suite with a view of the ocean. The second floor corridor curves around five rooms, a small suite and a grand suite that dominates the breathtaking view of the port and beach of Essaouira. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with bath-tub and toilet.

Living areas: Common areas have large panoramic windows which open onto the garden with the beautiful heated swimming pool. The restaurant, looking out onto the garden, allows guests to enjoy the local cuisine. At midday, we serve a lunch around the swimming pool, while the restaurant on the beach, offers a full summer kitchen. A cosy bar in African colonial style. A library on the mezzanine of the living room, and a reading room is at your disposal. A small living room with a fireplace. A comfortable reception room in sky red, and the terrace of the hotel with a 360 degree view of the bay and medina, allow guests to have their choice of space.
