This Riad was once home to the Architect Muhammad al-Mekki, designer of the famous Bahia Palace of Marrakech and the Grand Vizier Ba Ahmed. As it formed part of the palace quarters at its time of construction, Riad Aida shares the distinctive decorative elements of magnificent ceiling painted woodwork with Bahia Palace.
