Dar Maya is a luxury boutique hotel in Esasouira, offering five rooms, a spa and heated dip-pool in a chic, tranquil Riad in the heart of Essaouira�s historic medina. Having successfully blended a mix of understated Moroccan and contemporary European styles, Dar Maya oozes elegance, subtlety and intimacy.
Our aim at Dar Maya is to make your stay at our Riad in Essaouira as enjoyable as possible, and we offer an impeccable level of service that only a small luxury hotel can provide. The onsite spa at Dar Maya has been beautifully crafted in tadelakt. Massage is available in guest rooms allowing them to drop off onto their bed after, for a deeply relaxing experience.
With stunning ocean views from the terrace of Dar Maya, the hotel is a few minutes walk to all the main attractions and amenities including the bustling cafes, souks, port, beach and some of the best restaurants in Essaouira.
Our approach to food at Dar Maya is to keep it simple, fresh and made with local, seasonal ingredients only. If you want to dine at Dar Maya in the evenings in the snug dining room, there is a Moroccan three-course menu, which changes daily. There is also a menu featuring hot and cold snacks and beverages, which you can order from at any time of the day at Dar Maya. There is no cut off period for breakfast � so feel free to lie in as long as you want! You can take breakfast on the roof terrace, dining room or patio.
Dar Maya has a large raised sunny roof terrace protected from the elements with stunning ocean views and a heated dip-pool.
The central courtyard at Dar Maya contains a glorious fountain, which is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
A funky communal lounge, with comfy seating, feature fireplace, well stocked library, Bose iPod dock and a PC with free internet access make this Riad in Essaouira that bit more special.
All rooms at Dar Maya include complimentary WiFi, sumptuous bedding with Egyptian cotton sheets and duvets, air conditioning and working fireplaces in keeping with the Riads feeling of a boutique hotel.

Quiet area in the North of the Essaouira medina with a short walk to one of the main market streets, and 10 minutes to the working fish market port and Essaouira beach. Located near to the interesting Jewish Melleh quarter of the Medina with associated jewellery shops and only a handful of its original residents remaining.
