Perched on a mountainside above the banks of the Azzaden River Valley in Morocco�s High Atlas Mountains (at the entry to Toubkal National Park, Ouirgane area), Kasbah Africa can be reached in little over an hour from Marrakech.
Offering a high degree of exclusivity Kasbah Africa has just eight stone-built suites with panoramic mountain and river views. Each suite has 40 square metres of living space and is furnished with hand-crafted walnut furniture with either two large singles or a super king size bed, wood burner, Berber rugs, a sofa and lounge chairs, spacious bathroom and private roof terrace offering spectacular and panoramic views � perfect for star-gazing.
Facilities include a large swimming pool and lawn, Berber tent, extensive landscaped terraced gardens with abundant fruit and olive trees, a bar, lounge and restaurant with log fires, and of course panoramic river and mountain views.
For those seeking escape and relaxation Kasbah Africa provides an antidote to the stresses of modern life. The Kasbah offers a wide range of local activities, day trips and tours including guided walks to nearby Berber villages, Atlas treks, Toubkal climbs, nature trails, mule treks, cooking courses, and 4�4 trips to remote mountain villages and beyond. Day trips are available to Marrakech, Ourika Valley, Agafay Desert, Tin Mal Mosque and the Ouirgane Valley.

Kasbah Africa
Kasbah Africa offers a range of day walks with a choice of short self-guided trails or day walks accompanied by a local Berber guide. These can be arranged upon your arrival at Kasbah Africa.
Longer overnight or multi-day treks in the High Atlas Mountains can be arranged through our Atlas trekking base at nearby Dar Tassa.
These can include stays in traditional Berber villages inhabited by friendly local people who live a life that has changed little over hundreds of years.

"Kasbah Africa was our idea of a perfect holiday; luxurious rooms, quiet, spotlessly clean & v reasonably priced. I am sure in a year or so it will be way out of our price range. The thick dressing gowns, binoculars, hat, slippers, telescope, bird book were all very welcome touches. All the flowers were in bloom, so Kasbah Africa was even prettier than your photos. We loved sitting on the terrace at night watching the farmers take their goats & sheep down to the river.
The staff again were great, especially smiling mama Fatima & Abdullah. The chef even cooked me goat 1 night after I mentioned how I would like to try it."
