Owned and run only by women probably one of the best traditional meals you can get in Moroccan cuisine here in Marrakech.  Although it had a great reputation, since its move, this seems to be average at best.

30 Rue Koutoubia near the
Jardin de La Koutoubia Hotel

This is our favourite Thai restaurant a few minutes walk from Jemaa El Fna. Narwarma means "fire and water" and is represented by a central fountain through which flames emerge in the middle of the restaurant. They have Thai cuisine as well as a selection of Moroccan and international cuisine.  It is set down an alley next to the Hotel Jardin De La Koutoubia, and you are guided to the restaurant by Moroccan rugs which litter the small alleyway (derb).

La Trattoria

We ate there last night.  The courtyard is amazing with wonderful foliage, bougainvillers and a tall palm tree.  One of the best Italian restaurants in Marrakech.  There is a nice bar area before you enter the restaurant.

Beldi Country Club
Some 6 km out of the city the Beldi combines natural olive grove and rose gardens with traditional rural design, a beautiful pool where lunch is served and an enticing spa and hammam. That with some interesting boutiques makes the Country Club an excellent destination to escape the demands of the souks.

Nikki Beach
Out in the palmeraie some 5 km from the city centre Nikki Beach presents itself as the hip place to be. With resident DJ, 3 pools, an Oriental twist to the international cuisine and its chic designer look. This is Dubai comes to Marrakech. Great for birthday parties and dancing into the early hours.
